valve

Valve

In mechanical engineering, a device for controlling the flow of fluids (liquids, gases, slurries) in a pipe or other enclosure. It exerts control by means of a movable element that opens, shuts, or partially blocks an opening in a passageway. Valves are of seven main types: globe, gate, needle, plug (cock), butterfly, poppet, and spool. Some valves operate automatically; check (or nonreturn) valves, for example, are self-acting valves that permit flow in only one direction. Safety valves open at a predetermined pressure; the movable element usually has a weighted lever or a spring strong enough to hold the valve closed until a particular pressure is reached

Solenoid valve

1) Prevent the valve from being strongly striken in the process of installation and shipment, otherwise it may influence its normal performance.2) Before installation, the user must check the valve flatly on the test clamps with some prepressing. It is not allowed to be freely-flip. This assures that magnetic material won’t be damaged by colliding, otherwise it will influence the magnetic force.3) Clean the impurity such as aluminum or oil left on the inner wall of the stove and the surface of the valve.4) Keep the good connection of the solenoid valve and thermocouple. Prevent the safety protection device from operating abnormally because of too big contact resistance.5) The warehouse of solenoid valves must be dry and ventilated and strictly prohibit extrusion.

Water Control Valve

Water Control Valve are designed to handle and control hot water, cold water, ground water, potable water, salt water and/or wastewater. They are made from metal or plastic. Metal water valves are made of aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron, ductile iron, copper, steel, or stainless steel. Selecting water valves requires an analysis of performance specifications, actuation methods, and connection types. Performance specifications include valve size, pressure rating, number of ports or ways, media temperature, and valve flow coefficient. Suppliers specify valves according to metric or English (imperial) measurements. Some Water Control Valves are actuated manually, by a hand wheel or crank, or with mechanical devices such floats and cams. Others are actuated by electric, pneumatic, electro-hydraulic, or electro-hydraulic methods. There are many connection types for water valves. Examples include compression fittings, bolt flanges, clamp flanges, union connections, tube fittings, butt welds, and socket welds. Water valves with internal or external threads for inlet or outlet connections are also available.

Gate valve

Gate valve are advantageous in applications involving slurries, as their “gates” can cut right through the slurry. They are also used in applications that involve viscous liquids such as heavy oils, light grease, varnish, molasses, honey, cream and other non-flammable viscous liquids. They are available in large sizes to better handle thick flow. However, Gate Valves do have low-pressure limitations, and are not optimal in applications that require cleanliness or sanitary conditions. They are excellent for use anywhere a shutoff valve is needed. They can also be used where throttling capabilities are desired, although this is not generally recommended as erosion of the seat and disc occurs due to the vibrations of the disk in throttling applications. We are one of the biggest Gate Valves manufacturer in China. We supplies :Cast Steel Gate Valve、Forged Steel Gate Valve, Resilient seated gate valve, Flanged End Gate Valve etc, We can manufacture and supply Gate Valves according to your requirements, please contact us !

Check valve

Check valve are generally used in drip irrigation emitters and irrigation sprinklers. Composition disc valves are ideal for applications involving gritty liquids. A clapper valve is a type of check valve which is used in fire fighting. Poppet check valves find use in “macro” flow applications. Arterial check valves are used in applications requiring centrifugal pumps to prevent retrograde flow along the arterial line. Check Valves are mechanical valves that permit gases and liquids to flow in only one direction, preventing process flow from reversing. They are classified as one-way directional valves. Fluid flow in the desired direction opens the valve, while backflow forces the valve closed. The mechanics of check valve operation are not complicated. Most check valves contain a ball that sits freely above the seat, which has only one through hole. The ball has a slightly larger diameter than that of the through hole. When the pressure behind the seat exceeds that above the ball, liquid is allowed to flow through the valve. But once the pressure above the ball exceeds the pressure below the seat, the ball returns to rest in the seat, forming a seal that prevents backflow. We are one of the biggest Check Valves manufacturer in China. We supplies :Cast Steel Check Valve, Forged Steel Check Valve, Flanged End Check Valve ,We can manufacture and supply Check Valves according to your requirements, please feel free to contact us !

Hydraulic control valve

Hydraulic control valve as used in industrial applications are built in several pressure ranges. The majority of present applications are in the range of 0 to 1500 lb per sq in., but the trend is toward higher pressures. Various types of valves are used in hydraulic systems to control or regulate the flow medium. Hydraulic valves contain and transfer the flow and pressure of hydraulic fluid in hydraulic power systems. They range from simple shutoff valves to precision control valves. Common types of hydraulic valves include angle, ball, block and bleed, check, control, cartridge, directional, drain, needle, poppet, pressure relief, safety, shut off, solenoid, spool, and stack mounted valves. In their unpowered state, hydraulic valves can be normally open (open center) or normally closed (closed center). Hydraulic control valves with a tandem center connect the pressure and tank ports, but block the service ports to allow system unloading and isolation of the service lines. Devices with a float center allow the supply to be shut off and enable the load to move to other services.

Forged Steel Valve

Forged Steel Valve are used in Oil Refining and other industrial applications where forged steel material is required. higher pressures and temperatures are involved and the line size is generally under 2-1/2”. Other factors could also favor the selection of forged steel, such as system requirements for socket-weld piping and compatibility of media. We are one of the biggest Forged Steel Valves manufacturer in China. We supplies :Forged Steel Gate Valve、Forged Steel Globe Valve, Forged Steel Check Valve, Forged Steel Y-Pattern Valve, Forged Steel Bellow Sealed Valve etc, We can manufacture and supply Forged Steel Valves according to your requirements, please feel free to contact us !

Cast Steel Valve

Cast Steel Valve are generally used on line size over 2 when higher pressures and temperatures demand the use of carbon or alloy steel, cast steel valves are designed and manufactured to satisfy strict requirements in order to prevent external leakage and to meet fugitive emission requirements of most customers. Stuffing box finishes of 63 to 125 RMS, stem finished of 16 to 32 RMS control of staginess and concentricity of stems, and controlled diametrical clearances between stem and gland, stem and backseat, and gland and stuffing box, all combine to guarantee consistent performance of stem seals. Gasket surfaces between bodies and bonnets are strictly controlled to fines guarantee consistent sealing in gaskets areas.
